Blind Applying - Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully prior to applying for Blind Applying. By applying each applicant fully and unconditionally agrees to and accepts these Terms and Conditions.

 

1. General implications

1.1 This internship program is initiated by Deutsche Telekom and powered by Blind Applying, Entrypark, Nygränd 10, 11130 Stockholm, Sweden and in cooperation with all partaking employers mentioned. It will take place on the website www.blindapplying.com. All questions, comments and complaints regarding Blind Applying should be sent directly to Entrypark; this also applies to any claims arising from the application. 1.2 Application will take place exclusively online and is free of charge.

1.3 Participation will take place only via the Blind Applying website.

1.4 The application period will run from November 1st, 2016 5 p.m. CET till December 11th, 2016 11.59 p.m. CET.

 

2. Application

2.1 Any student who is over 18 at the time of applying and is currently enrolled for college, university or university of applied science is able to participate and be considered for the Blind Applying internships. PhD applicants are not considered for the Blind Applying internships, but can apply to get their CV/résumé actively considered by the employers for other opportunities.

2.3 Graduated applicants or applicants who will have graduated in Spring - Summer 2016 are able to apply and may or may not be considered for the Blind Applying internships, depending on the separate demands of each partaking employer. All applicants' CVs/résumés will be actively considered by the employers for other opportunities.

2.4 Application is not dependent on a purchase.

2.5 Each participant can submit one application. The Blind Applying team may not accept multiple applications.

2.6 By submitting the application, the applicant agrees that all the information submitted is true and that the applicant can provide proof upon request.

2.7 Any taxes, expenses and/or fees associated with Blind Applying applications are the sole responsibility of the applicants and will not be covered by Blind Applying and Entrypark.

 

3. Selection process

3.1 The final selection is made by the partaking employers; Blind Applying cannot be held responsible for this selection. The selection period is scheduled for December, however Blind Applying may change that date.

3.2 The chosen prospects will be contacted by the companies for interviews. It is up to the partaking companies who to chose as their Blind Applying champion. Blind Applying cannot be held responsible for the partaking companies' decisions.

3.3 The chosen Blind Applying champion agrees with the company upon internship period, salary, further compensation and individual arrangements. Blind Applying cannot be held responsible for decisions made within this process.

3.4 Blind Applying interns may receive an additional compensation for housing and travel. This is agreed upon with all partaking companies.

 

4. Exclusion from Blind Applying

4.1 Employees of Entrypark AB, Potentialpark AB, as well as their family members and relatives are excluded from the Contest.

4.2 People who (i) provide incorrect personal details, (ii) provide illegal content, or (iii) manipulate or otherwise misuse electronic devices are excluded from Blind Applying.

 

5. Early termination of Blind Applying

5.1 Entrypark is entitled to terminate the internship program at any time during the application period, without prior notice and without stating reasons. In particular, this applies in cases where this is necessary for organizational or technical reasons (e.g. computer system viruses, manipulation or errors in the hardware/software) or legal reasons.

 

6. Data protection

6.1 Blind Applying undertakes to observe the Swedish data protection legislation.

6.2 Participants consent to the storage, processing and transmission of their data by the responsible body, Blind Applying, as well as the forwarding of the transmitted data to www.entrypark.com.

6.3 The applicant's email address and name may be used to receive updates regarding the application process of Blind Applying, to receive news about suitable job offers from the partaking companies even after the project has ended and to receive relevant news exclusively from the partaking employers.

6.4 The partaking companies can access the data transmitted after applying only for relevant recruitment purposes, and shall not disclose it to third parties for other purposes. Blind Applying cannot be held responsible for that.

6.5 We may disclose your personally identifiable information if we reasonably believe we are required to do so by law, regulation or other government authority or to protect the rights and property of Blind Applying, Entrypark, its affiliates or the public. We may also cooperate with law enforcement agencies in any official investigation and we may disclose your personally identifiable information to the relevant agency in doing so.

 

7. Liability

7.1 Blind Applying is only liable for damages caused by Blind Applying or one of its auxiliaries through intent or gross negligence, or through a breach of essential contractual obligations. This limitation does not apply to damages arising from injury to life, limb and/or health.

7.2 The site and the application form may be temporarily unavailable from time to time for maintenance or other reasons. Blind Applying and Entrypark assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, user communications.

7.3 Blind Applying and Entrypark are not responsible for any technical malfunction or other damage caused to applicants' or to any other person's computer, mobile phone, or other hardware or software, resulting from using or downloading materials in connection with Blind Applying.

7.4 The applicant is obliged to compensate Blind Applying for any damages, claims, costs and legal fees caused by or based on the fact that the participant has uploaded a CV/résumé that does not comply with these Terms and Conditions, including uploading a CV/résumé that infringes the rights of third parties.

 

8. Final provisions

8.1 If Blind Applying has grounds to suspect any entrant or third party of cheating, deception or fraudulent or unsportsmanlike conduct of any kind (including, without limitation, manipulating), Blind Applying reserves the right (in its sole discretion) to disallow any entrant, entry or person it reasonably believes to be responsible for, or associated with, such activity.

8.2 Complaints relating to the staging of the Application must be sent to Blind Applying in writing within 14 days of the complaint arising.

8.3 The decision regarding the selection and the results is final. Applicants are not entitled to defer any offers made by the partaking employers, unless mutually agreed on with the partaking employer.

8.4 The Application is exclusively governed by Swedish law, regardless of the location from which a participant enters the Contest, and the courts of Sweden shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any disputes arising out of or in connection with the Application. This excludes mandatory consumer protection law at the participant’s place of residence.

8.5 Should individual provisions be or become ineffective or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
